Private wilderness experiences in the Scottish Highlands
We take individuals and small groups into the finest terrain in Scotland, privately and at their own pace. A single day or several, guided throughout by experts, with somewhere exceptional to return to at the end of it. These are not fixed trips. Every experience is built around you: where you want to go, what you want to take on and how far you want to push it.

Rock Climbing
Whether it is your first time on a rope or you have climbed for years, the day is built around your ability and what you want from it. Scottish crags and mountain routes, from an afternoon learning the moves to a long multi-pitch line with air beneath your feet.

Mountain walks
A guided day, or a run of days, on Scotland's highest peaks. There are 282 Munros, and getting up them safely takes more than ambition, navigation, judgement of weather and ground, and knowing when to turn back. Led by people who know these hills in all conditions. The reward is the top, and somewhere good to be at the end of it.

Classic scrambles
A guided day, or a run of days, on Scotland's highest peaks. There are 282 Munros, and getting up them safely takes more than ambition, navigation, judgement of weather and ground, and knowing when to turn back. Led by people who know these hills in all conditions. The reward is the top, and somewhere good to be at the end of it.

Whisky Tasting + Bothy Walk
A walk into the hills to a bothy, and a dram once you are there. The route is chosen to suit the day and the group, an afternoon's walk through open country to a shelter that takes some reaching. When you arrive, a tasting of Scottish whiskies chosen with care, drunk somewhere you cannot drive to.

Wild wellness sessions
Guided breathwork, meditation and yoga, on their own or woven into a wider experience. A different kind of effort from the physical. A great way to centre the mind and connect with the Landscape.

Wild Swimming & Sauna
Cold water and hot, the way it is meant to be done. A wild swim in a loch or a river pool, then a wood-fired sauna to bring the warmth back, run in cycles through the day. A day that sounds gentle and is anything but, bracing, restorative and quietly addictive. Somewhere good to eat and rest when you are done.

Highland cooking experience
A morning foraging with an expert guide, learning to find and identify wild herbs, mushrooms and berries in season. In the afternoon we return to base camp, where a chef cooks with you using what was gathered and the best of Scottish produce. The day ends with dinner together.

Highland picnic
A little luxury, somewhere wild! Combine with one of our other activities, perhaps a short walk to a hidden loch, or a days climbing with a selection of exceptional local produce, something good to drink and time to sit, eat and take in the landscape. Because the best table in Scotland doesn't always have four walls. And when the food is earned, it tastes even better.
